In addition to the free Resort Activities, there is also a wide range of other activities available outside the Resort, plus many guided or unguided tours. There is an oceanside 9-hole GOLF course at Taveuni Estates, about 40 minutes drive along the coastal road. TENNIS is also available at Taveuni Estates. (Maravu can provide with golf clubs and racquets if required). If you enjoy water-based activities, there is excellent DEEP-SEA FISHING, and day Fishing Charters can be arranged for you. SCUBA DIVING is world-famous in the reefs off Taveuni, notably the Rainbow Reef, and guests will enjoy excellent diving. Fiji is often named the "Soft Coral Capital of the World" and dive sites include the well-known 'Great White Wall'. See our Diving Page. Our half- and full-day tours (guided or unguided) include trips to beautiful WATERFALLS where you can experience the supreme pleasure of swimming in secluded rainforest pools. Or take a trip to a FIJIAN VILLAGE, where the friendly Fijian people will warmly welcome you and introduce you to different village activities and pursuits. Taveuni is one of the few places on earth where the 180 DEGREE MERIDIAN touches land ... visiting the marker is another popular option, and why not follow that with some fun and excitement at the Waitavela natural WATERSLIDE.
